We are looking to hire a café manager to oversee cafe operations for the 2024 summer season.
Qualifications:
- Management and leadership skills.
- Experience in the food or hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of TouchBistro point-of-sale system an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have current food handler’s certificate.
- Be aware of regulations and permits.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, hire, train and supervise staff.
- Oversee scheduling of staff.
- Monitor and maintain inventory.
- Ensure all duties are executed with customer service in mind.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment.
- Process payments.
- Prepare bank deposits.
- Maintain a clean and presentable environment.
- Menu planning and pricing.
- Work closely with waterfront society.
